About & Our Story

Rooted in tradition, built on science

Since 2017, Three 62 Ten Research Group has been bridging the botanical wisdom of Ayurveda with the rigor of modern nutraceutical science — from a single research lab to a vertically integrated developer and manufacturer.

Roots since 2017 · Bridgeport, CT

How we started

Our story began in 2017, when we opened a research and development lab in Bridgeport, Connecticut, out of a simple conviction: the time-tested botanicals of Ayurveda deserve the same analytical rigor demanded of any modern supplement. We started by standardizing herbal extracts and building formulations backed by data rather than tradition alone.

In 2018 we established Three 62 Ten Research Group and added manufacturing, so we could produce what we developed. As demand grew, we invested further in our lab and, in 2026, relocated to a larger facility in New Britain, CT — becoming the vertically integrated partner we are today.

Our Journey

Milestones along the way

2017

R&D lab opens in Bridgeport, CT

We start as a specialized research and development lab focused on standardizing Ayurvedic botanicals and building data-backed formulations.

2018

Company founded & manufacturing begins

Three 62 Ten Research Group is established and adds in-house manufacturing — producing the formulations we develop.

2019–2025

Scaling the science

We expand standardized-extract capability and analytical testing, and begin offering GMP-compliant contract manufacturing to outside brands.

2026

Expansion to New Britain, CT

We relocate to a larger facility, uniting research and manufacturing under one integrated pipeline.

Today

One umbrella, two divisions

Research and Manufacturing operate side by side — developing and producing efficacy-driven, Ayurvedic-based nutraceuticals from concept to finished goods.

Mission & Values

What guides our work

Our mission is to develop research-based, quality botanical products that are sustainable, traceable, and effective — and to make them accessible through modern formats.

Science First

Every formulation is grounded in evidence, standardized to active markers, and validated through testing.

Tradition Respected

We honor the botanical knowledge of Ayurveda, translating it faithfully into modern products.

Quality & Traceability

GMP-compliant, batch-traceable production — identity, purity, and potency verified at every step.

Partnership

We act as an end-to-end partner — from a client’s first idea to finished, shipment-ready product.

Our Advantage

Vertically integrated, by design

Most nutraceutical brands stitch together separate vendors for formulation and manufacturing. We built both under one roof — so a product moves from lab bench to production line without hand-off gaps, quality drift, or wasted time.

That integration is the essence of our promise, Combining Science and Engineering to Develop Personalized Medicine™ — and the reason partners trust us with the whole journey.

Meet the founder

Sagar N. Kaushik

Founder

Sagar founded Three 62 Ten Research Group to bring engineering discipline and scientific rigor to Ayurvedic supplements. Trained as both a biomedical engineer and an epidemiologist, he saw an opportunity to hold traditional botanicals to the same evidentiary standard expected of any modern therapeutic — and to build a company that could develop and manufacture them end to end.

He earned a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering, with a concentration in Biomaterials and Tissue Engineering, followed by a Master of Public Health in Epidemiology — both from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. The pairing is deliberate: engineering taught him how to design and build things that have to work, while epidemiology taught him how to reason about evidence, populations, and risk. Together they form the analytical backbone he brings to every formulation.

Professionally, Sagar’s background spans tissue engineering and medical-device startups — environments where product quality is not a marketing feature but a requirement, and where a small team has to take an idea from concept to a validated, manufacturable reality. That startup builder’s mindset shapes how Three 62 Ten operates today: lean, hands-on, and obsessed with getting the fundamentals right.

Alongside his technical training, he is traditionally trained in Ayurveda, studying its classical science of botanicals, constitution, and whole-person wellness. It is this rare combination — engineer, epidemiologist, and traditionally trained in Ayurveda — that anchors the company’s promise: Combining Science and Engineering to Develop Personalized Medicine™.

Behind the founder is a multidisciplinary team — including Ayurvedic and Naturopathic physicians and researchers on staff — working alongside specialists in botanical science, formulation chemistry, quality, and manufacturing. Together they bring clinical insight and scientific rigor to every product we develop and make.

Founder’s Message

Why quality comes first

When I started this work, I kept coming back to one uncomfortable truth: the supplement aisle is full of promises, but far too few of those products are built to prove them. Ayurveda has given us thousands of years of botanical wisdom — it deserves better than a label that can’t be verified.

I came to this from an unusual angle. I was trained as a biomedical engineer and an epidemiologist, and I spent the early part of my career in tissue engineering and medical-device startups — fields where a product that isn’t made to an exacting standard doesn’t just underperform, it fails the person relying on it. That standard stayed with me. When I turned to Ayurveda, training in it traditionally, I found a tradition rich in insight but too often let down by the way its products are made. I wanted to close that gap.

So we built Three 62 Ten Research Group around a simple standard: every product must be as good as the science behind it. That means authenticating the herb, standardizing the extract to its active markers, testing for identity, purity, and potency, and confirming that what’s on the label is exactly what’s in the bottle. It means running stability studies so a product performs on the last day of its shelf life as well as the first. And it means developing and manufacturing under one roof, so quality is never lost in a hand-off between vendors.

It also means restraint. We would rather say less and prove more than make a claim we can’t stand behind. Every formulation begins as a hypothesis to be validated, not a marketing story to be dressed up — and if the data doesn’t support it, we go back to the bench. That discipline is slower and harder, but it is the only way to earn the trust of the people who ultimately take what we make.

Great products aren’t an accident — they’re engineered. My background taught me to respect evidence; my training in Ayurveda taught me to respect tradition. This company exists where those two commitments meet. Whether we’re developing our own formulations or manufacturing yours, that is the promise I stand behind — personally, and on every batch that leaves our facility.
